The Australasian Begg Society of Orthodontists continues the ideals and the progressive thinking of Dr P Raymond Begg AO. Membership is open to orthodontists of all treatment philosophies and techniques. The Society supports the Begg Museum in Adelaide, and co-ordinates a project in Timor Leste to provide orthodontic care for Cleft Lip and Palate patients.


Nikolai Beilharz from ABC Radio Adelaide Afternoons recently talked with Wayne Sampson about P R Begg and the museum. The interview can be listened to below:

East Timor Cleft Lip
& Palate Project

The Australasian Begg Orthodontic Society was approached in 2012 by Mr Mark Moore AM, a prominent Adelaide Craniofacial and Plastic Surgeon who has been visiting East Timor for some time providing care to cleft lip and palate patients, as well as general plastic surgery work.
